My office changes on a weekly basis.  First week of July, it was a product testing trip to Montana during the only week I officially have "off."   Products passed our rugged testing so the apparel line up for 2018 will be terrific.   When a friend says, "can you help me move into my new apartment?"  Doesn't everyone just jump in their car, drive 900 miles to lend a hand?  Life is short, helping people you love makes the journey better.  The smart car with both road and mountain bike made the 900 mile trek to Billings, MT and at the same time I mixed in the product testing!  #efficient

With only a 48 hour turn around, I head out to Sonoma Valley, California for a two day expo in Napa. My trusty friend, Diego, came along to help me by ringing up sales and in return I take him on beautiful hiking.  We were so busy, I didn't even get to one winery for a tasting.  Luckily, we did bring our silver apartment along for easy camping; equipped with Tempurpedic beds, flat screen tv and air-conditioning.   The only way to travel:)

The women we met at the event were incredible.  Every single one of them looked fantastic in their Sweet Spot® Skirts apparel.  Standing in the hot sun (ranging from 98 to 104 degrees), took it's toll on us and the athletes.  Two back to back 12 hour days in the grueling heat and we still loved every moment.

After the show, we headed for cooler weather and landed in Point Reyes National Seashore.  California has some tremendous hikes and this one was ranked 2nd by All Trails, so of course we had to go.  This 9.5 mile epic hike, promised the most beautiful terrain and water views.  It DID NOT disappoint.   This hike took us to the tip of the Peninsula, where you can see both the Pacific Ocean and Tomales Bay. As if stunning views weren't enough, the hike also took you through an elk reserve.  Just in case your cell phone didn't work they placed an old school working pay phone at the trailhead.  #somethingsdontfit #hikeinaskirt #wheresmybike #myfeetarekillingme #youflyoutat8pm #sogorgeous

Working from the road requires intense concentration, a good internet connection and an incredible team back at home base.  When I started this company, I asked myself what I wanted my life/job to look like?  I enjoy our Flagship Store and it is super fun to hang with the team in the corporate offices.   My passion and love is being on the road, fitting women in our apparel and seeing the great places our country has to offer.   How many designers at any of the top companies are actually out listening to their customers?  This designer IS listening and learning every time she hits the road.

Life is hard, your job should be fun, right?  Next event is a new one for us, Long Beach California Dragon Boat Races.  Stay tuned to Facebook for an update on the rest of this trip.  #stayingincalifornia #slingingskirtsisfun #wannahike?

Love and Many HUGS,
Stephanie
